As I had to scan my papercuts for the illustration class… I finally found some time to scan my papercuts I did on the university trip a few weeks ago. During our three days of vacation we had to work on a several theme each day all of them visualized through the papercut technique. It was really interesting as I never really did any papercuts before but I’m not sure if I will ever do some of them again haha

I partly worked with some neon-hued paper that don’t really work out on the computerscreen so imagine the coloured parts to be much more flashing.
Task 1: “Fear in the Woods”

Task 2: visualize parts of Henry David Thoreau´s book “On the Duty of Civil Disobedience” with symmetric papercuts

Task 3: “Smell”
